My BFF Lisa needed some pictures of her kids for some Christmas presents this past season, so I volunteered! I've known these kids for 7 years or so, and it is totally awesome to see them grow up.
Now, let me tell you why I love them.
Rachel is super smart. As in, genius level testing smart. And she's cool and laid back. And she's a budding musician and an exceptional writer. She is so self assured in who she is and what she believes in. Needless to say, I think she could be president someday if she wanted to.
Silas is goofy. And funny. And has the kindest heart of any 11 year old I've EVER MET. He is a philanthropist. AT 11 YEARS OLD. (He gives away all of his birthday and Christmas money to animal shelters--in fact, his goal this past Christmas was to give more than he did last Christmas--and he did!) He's amazing, and I'm pretty sure he'll either be a fundraiser, actor, or missionary. Did I mention that he is socially conscious and can't stand racism or bigiotry?
Lisa, you're doing an amazing job raising these kids. I hope mine turn out this great when I have them someday!
Oh yeah, and they were fun to shoot!
